Twilio Usage
How ZOSOP uses Twilio
ZOSOP DOES NOT use Twilio to send SMS to customers.
Twilio is NOT used for:
- Marketing SMS
- Promotional SMS
- Appointment reminders
- Customer OTP
- Customer verification
- Customer notifications
- Bulk SMS
- Advertising SMS
Twilio is used ONLY for internal administrator security
ZOSOP uses Twilio strictly as an internal security channel. The only recipients of any Twilio SMS from ZOSOP are our own authorized administrators — the small internal team that operates the platform. Twilio is never used to reach end-customers, merchant end-users, staff of merchants, or the general public.
- Administrator Login Alerts
- Super Admin Verification Alerts
- Critical Server Security Alerts
- Emergency System Notifications
- Infrastructure Security Alerts
- Internal Administrative Notifications
Only authorized ZOSOP administrators receive these SMS messages. The phone numbers they are sent to are on file with ZOSOP as part of internal staffing, not gathered from any customer-facing signup flow.
Customers NEVER receive Twilio SMS from ZOSOP.
Customer Opt-in
There is no customer SMS program
Because ZOSOP does not operate any customer-facing SMS channel over Twilio, there is no customer opt-in workflow, no opt-out workflow, and no keyword handling for customers. There is nothing for a customer to subscribe to, because the service does not exist.
- Customers cannot subscribe to any ZOSOP SMS list.
- Customers never receive Twilio SMS from ZOSOP.
- No marketing SMS program exists.
- No promotional SMS program exists.
- No appointment-reminder SMS program uses Twilio.
- No opt-in disclosure is required on any ZOSOP customer-facing page, because there is nothing to opt into.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Does ZOSOP send SMS to customers?
No. ZOSOP does not send SMS to customers via Twilio or any other SMS provider. Customer communication with businesses that use ZOSOP happens through other channels (in-store, email, or the business's own systems) and is not routed through Twilio by ZOSOP.
Does ZOSOP use SMS marketing?
No. ZOSOP does not operate any marketing SMS program. We do not send promotional SMS, advertising SMS, or bulk SMS through Twilio.
Who receives Twilio SMS from ZOSOP?
Only authorized ZOSOP administrators — the small internal team that operates the platform — receive Twilio SMS. Those messages are security alerts (login notifications, verification codes for admin operations, infrastructure alerts, emergency system notifications) that are essential for keeping the platform safe.
Can customers subscribe to a ZOSOP SMS list?
No. There is nothing for a customer to subscribe to because ZOSOP does not operate any customer-facing SMS channel over Twilio. No opt-in page, no keywords, no signup form.
Does ZOSOP send appointment reminders via Twilio?
No. Appointment reminders that a business using ZOSOP might send to its own customers are not routed through Twilio by ZOSOP. Any such reminders, when they exist at all, use non-Twilio channels operated by the business itself.
Does ZOSOP send verification codes to customers via Twilio?
No. ZOSOP does not send customer OTP or verification SMS via Twilio. Customer authentication in the ZOSOP application uses other, non-Twilio methods.
